I started this because I couldn't find honest, conflict-free property advice online.

Everything I read was either written by someone with an affiliate agenda, produced by a developer-funded media company, or so generic it was useless. As someone who has bought and managed investment properties in Australia, I know how much is at stake when you get this stuff wrong.

BrickByBrick is my attempt to write the site I wish had existed when I was starting out. Independent. Practical. Written by someone who's actually done it.

This is a personal blog, not a financial advisory service. Everything I write is general in nature. I'm not a licensed financial adviser and nothing here is personal financial advice. What I can offer is a frank, unsponsored perspective on what's worked for me, common traps to avoid, and honest assessments of the tools and strategies that get talked about in property circles.
